Dear Clients,

Following the previously held status conferences in the BitClub Network proceedings, a new filing has now been submitted in the case against Matthew Brent Goettsche, further illustrating the scale and complexity of the investigation and trial preparation.

According to the court filings, the matter involves the review of nearly two million electronic records, multiple digital device extractions, analysis and reconstruction of server data, as well as documentation and information obtained from abroad, including data provided to U.S. authorities from Romania.

The filing further indicates that the parties are continuing to review extensive digital evidence, prepare expert witnesses, exchange evidentiary materials, and address additional pretrial submissions and motions ahead of trial.

These details demonstrate why proceedings involving international online platforms, cryptocurrencies, and large volumes of electronic evidence often require significantly more time than traditional criminal cases.

Unlike proceedings primarily based on physical documentation and locally available evidence, cases of this nature frequently involve international cooperation, technical analysis of server infrastructure, blockchain tracing, digital forensic examinations, and the review of substantial amounts of electronic communication.

At the same time, the filing confirms that the matter continues to move forward actively as preparations for trial proceed. The trial against Matthew Brent Goettsche remains scheduled for October 6, 2026.

We will continue to monitor all relevant procedural developments and keep you informed in a timely manner.

Kind regards,
Attorney Zoran Miljaković
