Dear Clients,

This week, we would like to address a circumstance that frequently arises in online investment fraud cases, particularly in situations involving a larger number of victims.

In practice, it is often the case that no single victim possesses all of the information that may be relevant to understanding the full scope of how a particular platform or scheme operated.

While one individual may have preserved communications with the persons who contacted them, another may possess information relating to transactions, bank accounts, wallet addresses, or other financial details. Some victims may have retained documentation relating to later stages of the communication process, while others may have information concerning the initial contact or recruitment phase.

For this reason, in cases involving a large number of victims, certain pieces of information often become more significant when they are compared with information obtained from other cases.

Details that may appear insignificant when viewed in isolation can sometimes assist in connecting separate events, identifying recurring communication patterns, or gaining a clearer understanding of how a particular system operated.

We therefore recommend that victims continue to preserve all available documentation, including communications, transaction confirmations, account information, and any other records that may be connected to their case.

Even information that may seem unimportant at first glance can sometimes become relevant when compared with information provided by other victims and may contribute to a more complete understanding of the overall circumstances.

As always, we will continue to monitor developments and keep you informed of any information relevant to your case.

Kind regards,

Attorney Zoran Miljaković
