Bitclub Newsletter No. 195
Dear Clients,
Several clients have recently asked whether the absence of new court decisions in the BitClub Network proceedings means that the case has come to a standstill.
The answer is no.
Federal criminal proceedings in the United States, particularly those involving large-scale international fraud, often progress over extended periods of time. Although there may be weeks or even months without a substantive court ruling, this does not necessarily indicate inactivity.
During these periods, the parties may be preparing submissions, reviewing evidence, resolving procedural matters, or addressing legal issues that are not immediately reflected in major court decisions. In complex cases involving numerous defendants, substantial amounts of evidence, and international aspects, these phases are a normal part of the judicial process.
For this reason, periods without significant public developments should not be interpreted as an indication that the proceedings have ended or that no progress is being made. We continue to monitor the Court’s docket and carefully review every filing as it becomes available.
As soon as any development occurs that may be relevant to our clients, we will promptly inform you and explain its significance.
Thank you for your continued trust.
Kind regards,
Attorney Zoran Miljaković
