Dear Clients,

In large international financial fraud cases, such as ProCap, we often encounter common myths and misconceptions among investors that can make it harder to understand the process and make informed decisions.

Here are some of the most frequent:

  1. “If I don’t pay additional fees, I won’t get my funds.”
    – Fees requested by unknown intermediaries are not part of any official process, and paying them does not influence the legal outcome.
  2. “A fast resolution is possible.”
    – International cases involve coordination between multiple competent authorities, which naturally takes time. Quick resolutions are almost never realistic.
  3. “If nothing is happening, the case has been forgotten.”
    – The absence of public updates does not mean the case is inactive; most activities happen behind the scenes and through formal procedures.
  4. “I can contact the platform or intermediaries myself to speed up recovery.”
    – Unverified contacts can lead to the loss of evidence or complications in the process. All communications should go through your attorney.

Understanding these misconceptions helps investors remain patient, cautious, and well-informed while the competent authorities conduct their investigation and prepare the steps necessary for potential recovery of funds.

It is important that all information and documentation is shared exclusively through your legal representative, to ensure your interests and personal data are fully protected.

Kind regards,
