Dear Clients,

It is increasingly common for victims, after already being affected by fraud, to be contacted again by various individuals offering assistance in recovering their funds.

Such offers are typically made through messages, phone calls, or emails, often claiming that there is a way to quickly recover the money—usually requiring an upfront payment for alleged “fees” or “processing costs.”

It is important to emphasize that, in many cases, this represents a continuation of the same or a related scam, exploiting the fact that the individual has already suffered a loss and may be willing to try to recover their funds.

In practice, such communication has no legal basis and does not lead to actual recovery, but may result in additional financial loss and complicate further proceedings.

This is particularly problematic when such actions occur in parallel with official procedures, as they may create confusion in the evidence or hinder proper coordination with competent authorities.

For this reason, it is essential to exercise caution when encountering offers that promise quick solutions or guaranteed recovery, especially when they come from unknown individuals or lack a clear legal framework.

If you receive such an offer, it is strongly recommended not to engage and to seek proper guidance beforehand in order to avoid further consequences.

You will be duly informed of any further relevant developments.

Kind regards,
Attorney Zoran Miljaković
