Dear Clients,

A new procedural step has been recorded in the BitClub Network proceedings concerning defendant Matthew Brent Goettsche.

On April 21, 2026, the Court held a status conference in his case and, notably, scheduled a follow-up conference call shortly thereafter.

Although a status conference does not represent a final decision or a substantive ruling on the merits of the case, it is an important procedural step, especially in complex criminal proceedings of this nature.

These conferences are typically used to address pending procedural issues, discuss the readiness of the parties for trial, resolve evidentiary matters, and organize the next steps in the proceedings.

The fact that the Court scheduled a follow-up call within a short period of time may indicate that certain procedural matters remain active and are being addressed in preparation for the upcoming trial.

As previously reported, the trial against Matthew Brent Goettsche remains scheduled for October 6, 2026.

This is important because it confirms that the case continues to move forward and that the Court is actively managing the process in advance of trial.

In proceedings of this scale, significant developments often happen through procedural preparation long before the actual trial begins. While these steps may not always seem substantial from the outside, they often shape the course of the case in important ways.

We will continue to monitor all further developments and keep you informed in a timely manner.

Kind regards,
Attorney Zoran Miljaković
