HotNews No. 126: USDT Mining Pro – Another “Click-to-Mine” Ponzi Scam from Chinese Scam Factories
USDT Mining Pro is a new “click and earn” app falsely marketed as a crypto mining platform. In reality, it’s just another Ponzi scheme with no products, no owners, and zero transparency.
How does it work?
Users are invited to invest Tether (USDT) and are promised unrealistic daily returns — up to 16%. Allegedly, all you need to do is click a button once a day in the app to trigger “mining.” In truth, the click does nothing — the platform simply uses new deposits to pay earlier users.
Investment tiers include:
- VIP1: 10–499 USDT = 4.2% daily
- VIP2: 500–4,999 USDT = 5.8% daily
- VIP3: 5,000–19,999 USDT = 7.9% daily
- VIP4: 20,000–49,999 USDT = 10.2% daily
- VIP5: 50,000–199,999 USDT = 13% daily
- VIP6: 200,000+ USDT = 16% daily
There’s also an 8% referral commission across two recruitment levels.
Who’s behind it?
No one knows. The website domain “pos.tx111.club” was anonymously registered on April 28, 2025. Like many similar scams, USDT Mining Pro is believed to be part of a broader fraud network run from Chinese-operated scam factories in Cambodia, Myanmar, and other Southeast Asian countries.
What happens when it collapses?
Accounts are locked, withdrawals are blocked, and both the app and website vanish without notice. In many cases, scammers then launch “recovery scams,” demanding fees to release frozen funds — before disappearing completely.
The bigger picture – organized crime
Since 2024, global law enforcement has ramped up raids on scam compounds. Over 10,000 victims have been freed from forced labor in scam operations. Key crime figures, including Myanmar warlord Saw Chit Thu, have been sanctioned. As pressure increases in Asia, operations are now spreading to Africa — especially Nigeria, Angola, and Brazil.
📢 Warning:
USDT Mining Pro is just one of many fake mining apps promising daily returns for simply “clicking a button.” These Ponzi platforms shut down without warning — leaving most investors at a loss.
