Mitovi i činjenice

Činjenica: Iako istraga traje, oštećeni mogu pripremiti i sačuvati dokumentaciju, pratiti obaveštenja i pravovremeno informisati advokata o novim saznanjima.

Dear Clients,

During the investigation of the COTPS case, we often notice that victims have doubts or misconceptions about the process and how their actions can impact the outcome. This week, we want to clarify some of the most common myths and highlight what really matters.

Myths and Facts

Myth 1: “My case is too small to matter.”
Fact: Even a small transaction or payment can confirm a pattern of fraud and strengthen the case for all victims. Every report helps authorities identify the network of suspects.

Myth 2: “There’s nothing I can do while the investigation is ongoing.”
Fact: While the investigation is underway, victims can prepare and preserve documentation, follow updates, and promptly inform their attorney about any new information. Every action now increases the chances of protecting your interests in the future court proceedings.

Myth 3: “It doesn’t matter if I keep messages and emails with the platform.”
Fact: Every communication can be crucial in proving losses and identifying suspects. Well-organized documentation strengthens your case.

Myth 4: “I won’t be informed about the progress of the case.”
Fact: Your attorney provides regular updates on all measures and phases of the proceedings. Timely submission of information and documents allows you to follow the investigation and be prepared for the court phase.

Kind regards,
Attorney Zoran Miljaković
