Dear Clients,

In the BitClub Network matter, recent developments have occurred that are significant for following the case, even though no final decisions have been publicly issued. It is important to understand how court proceedings work and what certain rulings and pending requests mean for victims.

Recently, the defendant, Jobadiah Sinclair Weeks, filed a motion to modify his bond conditions. Specifically, he requested that the mortgages his parents provided as collateral for his bond be released and that his bond be converted to unsecured status, without altering other supervision requirements. The court has not yet fully approved this request but has set a clear deadline for the Government’s response by January 9, 2026, meaning that the next steps will be formally considered within the legal timeframe.

Additionally, the court granted partial modifications to the bond conditions, allowing the defendant to use on-site amenities at the residential complex (swimming pool, gym, tennis and basketball courts) from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., provided he remains on the premises. All other requests for bond modifications were denied at this time.

For victims of the BitClub Network, this information is important because it shows that legal processes are actively ongoing and that the court continues to supervise the defendant while reviewing all requests and proposed modifications. Even if no “visible” updates appear publicly, each procedural step, deadline, and ruling affects the overall dynamics of the case and the potential for fund recovery.

At this stage, it remains crucial to preserve all documentation, payment confirmations, and communications with the platform, as every detail may be key when the legal team prepares for the next steps in the proceedings.

Kind regards,
Attorney Zoran Miljaković
