The evidence in this case encompasses a wide range of activities, including reviewing nearly two million electronic records, analyzing various images, and extracting digital devices, reconstructing and reviewing copies of server data from websites and information from servers provided by the Government of Romania. Additional it is necessary to ensure that the defendant’s attorneys are given enough time to thoroughly review and verify this discovery.

The financial investigation into the assets of the accused involves dozens of legal entities established by the accused in offshore zones, dozens of legal entities in which they invested money, nine cryptocurrency wallets with transactions, a large number of real estate properties, motor vehicles, yachts, and other movable assets. Therefore, resolving this case is a challenging task.

From a legal perspective, it is logical for all the accused to reach an agreement with the prosecutor. This way, they may receive a lesser sentence, while the victims will be compensated more quickly. We hope that their lawyers will advise them to do so and thus expedite the resolution of this case.
