How did the suspects operate?
They conducted their business operations through a well-developed and professional web page. The suspects guaranteed the safety of the investment and quick profits amounting 10% on a weekly basis.
The hub of the business operations was the company EGCM – Emirates Global Capital Markets with its Asian branch in the Philippines.
Individuals who invested in this company have done so by setting up a profile on the suspects’ platform, after which they transferred their investment to the wallet of the suspects. The investor is then guaranteed an allegedly fictitious profit. Once the investors wanted to withdraw their assets and profits, they could not access their private accounts. The suspects failed to reply to emails and usual communication channels. The web page is still active and operational, however, exclusively for new investors.

Investitor koji nasedne na njihovu priču prvo se registruje se na platformu a zatim investira tako što sopstvena sredstva prosledi na njihov bitcon novčanik. Nakon toga Investitor ima fiktivni obećani profit. Kada treba da povrati svoj ulog i obaćani profit više se ne može logovati i pristupati svom računu. Počinici se tada ne javljaju na uobičajene kanale komunikacije. Stranica je i dalje aktivna ali samo za nove korisnike.
