Dear Clients,

In the past week, we have received many inquiries regarding the treatment of victims when providing statements or testimony to the police or prosecution. Considering the large number of victims in this process, it is clear that the police and prosecution will not call in everyone. That would take too much time. They will selectively call in victims, following the principle of streamlining the criminal procedure. This means they will choose victims who can be heard in the shortest time and provide the most useful information for the progress of the procedure. Currently, victims from Croatia are being called in because the procedure was first initiated there. Given that a request has been submitted to Europol and a criminal complaint has also been filed in Germany, it can be assumed that affected individuals outside of Croatia will also be called in.

In any case, we are available to assist any victim who receives a call from the prosecution or police for preparation to give a statement or testimony. So, if you have any doubts about giving a statement or testifying, you can contact us through the “Contact Us” option on our website https://defendme.global/ and send your questions.

To recap what is important when victims give testimony in criminal proceedings:

Testimony Summons: Victims are typically issued a summons by the prosecutor or the police to provide their testimony. There is a possibility that they will be called as witnesses during the trial.

Importance of the Testimony: Victims’ testimonies play a crucial role in the investigation and ultimately in the court’s decision, providing the police and the court with a comprehensive picture of the events.

Victims’ Rights: During this process, victims are guaranteed certain rights. This includes the right to be informed about the progress of the proceedings, the right to protection and support, the right to ask questions and seek further explanations, as well as the right to fair compensation for any damages suffered.

If you are contacted by the police or the prosecution to provide a statement or testify, it is necessary to adhere to certain guidelines to ensure clear and accurate expression. It is crucial to be prepared with relevant evidence. These pieces of evidence will serve as the basis for your claims and help you support your statements. It is important to gather the following:

Evidence of Transactions: Bring evidence of the payments you have made to the Jubilee Group, as well as information about the wallets or accounts to which the payments were made. This will help confirm your financial transactions and aid the investigation in locating the assets.

Records of Participation in Presentations: If you have attended live presentations or Zoom meetings, gather relevant evidence of your participation. This may include meeting notes, emails or invitations you received, as well as attendance confirmations.

Evidence about the Perpetrators: If you have pictures or other information about individuals connected to this event or the Jubilee Group, such as phone numbers, addresses, and the like, bring this information with you. It can be useful for identifying relevant individuals in the investigation.

Be Clear: When giving a statement or testimony, focus on detailed and clear explanations. Highlight moments when the founders and promoters, during presentations or Zoom meetings, discussed and live demonstrated alleged arbitrage trades and promised earnings. Describe your emotional state and reactions after these presentations to illustrate your thoughts and feelings regarding the investment.

Preventing Access to investors’ Funds: Explain the point at which you could no longer withdraw money from your account or access your account. Describe all the steps you took to try to resolve this situation and to protect your rights as an investor. How did you feel after losing your investment?

I want to emphasize that if you don’t have all the elements mentioned above or if you don’t remember all the details, please provide the information you do have. Everything will be helpful and taken into consideration. Approach this without any stress; the person taking your statement will assist you and ask questions if you happen to miss something.

If you receive a summons to give a statement or testimony and you need additional information, you can send us your questions through the “Contact Us” section on our website at https://defendme.global/.

Uloga Iskaza Oštećenih: Njihovi iskazi igraju ključnu ulogu u istrazi i na kraju u sudskoj odluci, pružajući policiji i sudu sveobuhvatnu sliku događaja.

Pristupite ovome bez ikakvog stresa, lice pred kojim budete davali iskaz će vam pomoći i postavljati pitanja ukoliko ste nešto propustili.
