ProCap Newsletter No. 52

Dear Clients,

In cases such as ProCap, we are increasingly encountering situations where affected individuals, in an effort to speed up the process, attempt to independently contact various entities in order to recover their funds.

It is important to emphasize that such attempts, although understandable, often do not lead to the desired result and may further complicate the course of the proceedings. This is particularly the case when communication is established with individuals who falsely present themselves as fund recovery agents, which in practice frequently represents a continuation of the original fraud.

In addition, contacting institutions or platforms without proper legal basis and coordination may result in incomplete or inadequate responses, which later have no procedural value or may hinder the proper collection of evidence through competent authorities.

For this reason, it is of particular importance that all actions are aligned and carried out in a coordinated manner, in order to avoid situations that could negatively affect the efficiency of the proceedings and the protection of your interests.

Taking all of the above into account, we recommend refraining from independent attempts to recover funds and ensuring that all further steps are undertaken within an appropriate legal framework that enables their full effectiveness.

You will be duly informed of any further relevant developments.

Kind regards,
Attorney Zoran Miljaković
