Cybercrime Southeast Europe

Dear clients,

During the past week, we filed a criminal complaint with the prosecution for high-tech crime in Belgrade regarding the NSSPV case. This fraud is being carried out by an organized criminal group through the company NSSPV ENERGY (EUROPE) LTD. According to reports, the company is headquartered in Colorado, USA, with regional offices in different countries. On the official website, the company invites people to join the national project of electricity production through solar panels.

Victims are encouraged to invest money in solar panels, with the promise of a quick return on investment. Allegedly, the profit comes from the production of electricity through solar panels. After investors make the payment, they are encouraged to invite their family and friends to invest in this business as well, with the promise of additional income for each new member. Unfortunately, it turns out that there were no actual investments, and the initial payments of alleged profits served only to deceive victims into investing more.

In other cases of cybercrime where we represent our clients, we have received information from victims mainly related to attempts to extort additional funds, with scammers posing as representatives of companies that can recover lost funds or as representatives of London tax authorities, demanding payment of alleged taxes.

We have compiled information obtained from the victims that can assist the police and prosecution in the course of the investigation and forwarded it to them.
