Cybercrime Southeast Europe Newsletter No. 31
Dear clients,
We would like to inform you about a new scam that is once again targeting citizens through a suspicious cryptocurrency trading platform called Immediate Matrix. This platform falsely claims to be endorsed by the well-known businessman Miroslav Mišković; however, he has no connection to it, as confirmed by his company, Delta Holding.
Description of the Scam
Suspicious advertisements promising quick and easy earnings through this platform are currently active on social media, particularly on Facebook. The site has adopted the visual identity of the N1 portal but is filled with grammatical errors and dubious information, indicating that it is not credible. It claims that “over 9,000 Serbs” have already made a profit, with statistics suggesting that an investment of 250 euros can yield earnings of up to 2,500 euros.
Additionally, the site offers instructions for installing the platform and alleged quotes from Miroslav Mišković encouraging investment, all of which resemble a classic scam. All contact information on the site is nonexistent, and user data is requested without clear information on who is behind the platform.
We also emphasize that a similar platform with the same name was active in South Africa last year, where authorities warned citizens that Immediate Matrix does not have the necessary licenses to provide financial services.
