Cybercrime Southeast Europe Newsletter No. 35
Dear Clients,
We inform you that in cases where we filed criminal complaints this week, there have been no new developments. Our office remains in regular contact with the public prosecutor’s office, and we will keep you updated on any further steps and progress.
We especially warn you about the SPX Markets fraud, a company presenting itself as an international broker based in the United Kingdom. Despite claims of offering forex, stocks, cryptocurrencies, and other investment instruments, SPX Markets operates without any valid regulatory oversight or authorization from relevant institutions, clearly indicating a scam. Investors who engage with this platform have no legal protection and are at risk of losing their funds entirely.
Furthermore, the official website of SPX Markets is currently non-functional, a typical sign of fraudulent platforms attempting to cover their tracks after collecting funds from victims. Our office has already taken action and filed criminal complaints against those responsible for this fraud.
We urge anyone who has been in contact with SPX Markets or has invested funds through them to contact us immediately. Our team will provide you with advice and legal assistance regarding your options for recovering your funds. Don’t wait—reach out to us and take protective measures.
Kind Regards,
Zoran Miljakovic
