As every week, in this edition we are bringing you the latest updates and trends in the field of cybercrime, along with the current developments in the cases we are monitoring. Over the past period, a platform called Our Familie, also known as Crypto Familie, has attracted considerable attention. This platform is being heavily promoted on social media and within private groups, offering promises of quick profits through cryptocurrency investments and so-called “family network” bonuses, where additional earnings are presented as rewards for bringing in new members.

Due to the similarities with previously identified business models that ultimately led to significant financial losses for users, we strongly advise caution and thorough verification of all information before making any financial decisions. Specifically, we recommend paying attention to the following:

• Lack of transparency in business operations and absence of official registration.
• Promises of guaranteed profits without a clear explanation of how such profits are generated.
• Pressure to invest larger amounts quickly in order to receive higher bonuses.
• Difficulties in communicating with real representatives of the platform.

In addition to direct investments, we have also noticed the use of social media and messaging apps to spread promotional messages about the platform, often using fake profiles and artificially generated positive comments to create a false sense of success and security.

We remind you that cryptocurrencies remain one of the preferred channels for organized cybercriminal groups, precisely because transactions are harder to trace and funds can be quickly transferred across different jurisdictions. For this reason, any offer of a “safe and quick” investment should be approached with caution.
